Nissi Beach is the most well known Beach in Cyrpus and is situated within the party resort of Ayia Napa. The sandy beach stretches for over 500m and the waters are clean enough for the beach to have been awarded blye flag designation.

Nissi Beach runs the length of its own cove and it takes its name from the small island located close to the coast. The uninhabited island is easily rached on foot through the shallow waters and its location provides perfect shelter for the rest of the beach.

Nissi Beach has become a very popular destination for clubbers which flock to the resort of Ayia Napa every summer. This is because of the live programms transmitted through BBC's Radio 1 Roadshow which has run throughout the whole summer seasong since 2002.

There is also many water sports on offer such as water-skiing, windsurfing and pedal boating. There is also two bungee jump services and two beach volleyball courts which are open to the public.
